Faith Within Favour ("faith x favour") existed long before the shoes ever showed up. But that pair is what finally made me see it as a real ministry.

It started off as a wish: Lord, I want a new pair of shoes.

Quickly, I shook the thought from my mind and went on with my day.

But what happened after that was more than extraordinary. It was God-gifted.

Hey friend — welcome to the neighborhood.

These Weren't Just Any Shoes

Now let me get back to where I left off.

These weren't just any shoes, they were meant to walk with me into my next season. However, the story of these shoes is anything but glamorous.

It was time to head home after a long day when I couldn't help but notice the shoes on my co-workers feet. I made one harmless comment -ONE- and the next thing I know she literally takes the shoes off of her feet for me to try on.

Perfect fit.

She starts explaining how the shoes are too big for her and she planned to give some items for Goodwill.

They were nice, but they still missed that oomph I was missing. However, I couldn't get that moment out of my head. The following week, she tells me she has the shoes with her and to grab them before the day is out. And to my surprise, she hands me an entire bag of items: sweaters, dresses, tops, bottoms, and shoes including the ones that she let me try on a few days before!

Let's not ignore the fact that I never said I wanted her shoes, just that I wanted a new pair of shoes. And the Lord humorously delivered in his own way.

The catch was: I couldn't yet afford the shoes I wanted. But I ended up with something far better than I could've chosen myself.

Now the shoes weren't perfect by any means: the soles were worn out, it had a few scratches, and were just dirty and in need of a rinse.

That's when it came to me:

What if I took on the task of restoring them?

I'm not a cobbler by any means, but I knew that if Jesus could live, die, then return from the grave then imagine how beautiful these shoes would be if I could breathe life back into them?

Determined, I started the process of "Operation: New Soles, New Season."

"A perfect reminder of how just because something is too big for you, doesn't mean it's too big for someone else. They might just be waiting on the right person to fill it..."

Here's the Great News

What I want to share is simple: God still redeems.

Even when we mess up, get distracted, and quit, God still chooses us.

His choice to keep choosing us is called grace. It’s not because of who we are or what we’ve done, but because of who He is. God has the ability to reaffirm our worth, redeem our failures, and restore what seems lost for His glory. He will always remind us that the battle is NOT OVER — even when it seems that way.

That's the heartbeat of faith x favour.

What is Faith Within Favour ("faith x favour")?

As the Founder of Faith Within Favour, my heart is to create a safe, faith-centered neighborhood a warm, welcoming space where women can show up exactly as they are, breathe, ask questions, find rest, heal, and grow together as friends.

This is a community rooted in faith, built to walk with you — step by step — through healing, restoration, identity, and purpose.

Here, you don’t have to pretend.

Here, you’re a neighbor, a friend, and a sister in Christ.

This is a space where we walk side by side as God completes His work in us (Philippians 1:6).

Your presence is welcome here.

What does this mean for You?

My ministry is built on four core values summed up by the acronym F.E.E.T. I believe that this is what's made Jesus' ministry on Earth so impactful.

In his years on Earth, He walked through various towns, villages, and high places helping people to find their footing.

Find freedom from situations that seemed to have reached a dead end

Empower decision making that requires stepping out in faith

Encourage relationships through community by asking questions and remaining receptive

Thrive in unpredictable circumstances by moving into alignment with God's truth

Closing:

This is the blueprint to what makes a successful ministry. FEET isn't just theory, it's a framework for practical steps forward shaping how I write, teach and show up here. Every blog post, study, and conversation has been filtered through these values and rooted in real stories from my life. You're not just reading something inspiring, you're getting reflective questions, bible study takeaways and one clear next step to what you're walking through.

FEET is how I want to walk with you. If that is something you feel you've been missing, stick around there's more here for you.

Here’s to a season of faith, favour, and a pair of shoes.
