"There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no rock like our God."

1 Samuel 2:2

Hey Ladies,

I thought I was done writing —

But as we know, the Lord is never done.

That’s when the verse that popped up on my Bible App this morning.

I didn’t need to search for it.

I didn’t need to beg for it.

I didn’t need to audition for it.

It followed me — because I expected it.

This mini-blog is part of the "In Wait" Series flowing straight from Episode 2, where we explored Hannah’s prayer and God’s faithfulness. It continues the journey that started in Episode 1—with the alabaster box, with intimacy, and with choosing to pour it all out before the Lord.

If you didn’t already know, this verse comes from Hannah’s praise report declaring God’s faithfulness and sovereignty over her situation — over her life, over her home, over her womb.

If you needed to hear this today:

The Lord is getting ready to put a rush order on your promise.

It’s still on the way.

It’s about to arrive.

The Lord has not forgotten you.

He’s preparing you.

He is in the room with you right now.

He’s changing your story.

Give Him some time — He will come through.

Do not be afraid and declare the Lord’s goodness over yourself.

Like Hannah — she expected it.

She did not wait until her baby was in her lap to remind her of the Lord’s track record.

She waited expectedly.

2 Corinthians 1:20 says,

“For every one of God’s promises is 'Yes' in Him, Therefore, we can say 'Amen' to the glory of God.”

While you wait, continue to declare the Lord’s goodness with me:

  • You have not failed me, and I know you will come through.

  • You are always with me, and I am never alone.

  • You order my steps, and I am protected from harm.

  • You provide for my needs, and I have no need.

Amen.

P.S. God said yes.
